Capt. Kuldeep Singh Solanki
Promoter
Capt. Kuldeep Solanki, is a distinguished leader and the driving force behind the Sainik Group of Companies, bringing over four decades of expertise in mining, logistics, drilling and exploration. His professional journey commenced with the Indian Army, where he served with distinction for five years before transitioning to the family’s coal transportation business in 1982. Under his strategic leadership, the Sainik Group has significantly expanded its operations across India, Ethiopia, and UAE establishing a strong presence in multiple industries.
Yuvraj Singh Solanki
Director
Mr. Yuvraj Solanki is an entrepreneur with over 17 years of hands-on experience in the mining sector, with significant contributions in both India and Ethiopia. He currently serves as a Board Member and the Managing Director of Sainik Mining and Allied Services Limited (SMASL).
Under the leadership of Mr. Solanki and his father, Capt. Kuldeep Solanki, SMASL was awarded one of the largest Mine Development and Operation (MDO) contracts in India—the PB Block in Jharkhand, with an annual production target of 15 million tonnes of coal for the next 25 years. The company also secured the Dulanga Coal Block, further consolidating its position as a leading force in India’s coal mining industry.
From 2009 to 2011, Mr. Solanki played a key role in the drilling, exploration, and development of the Danakil Potash Project in the Danakil Depression of North-Eastern Ethiopia. Between 2012 and 2016, he was actively involved in the implementation and successful operation of a Sugar Plant in Ethiopia. These international ventures provided him with valuable exposure, after which he returned to India to strengthen his family’s core business in coal mining.
In recent years, Mr. Solanki co-founded Sainik Infratec, a fully family-owned enterprise that is rapidly expanding under the leadership of a dynamic young team. The company is already scaling aggressively and building a strong portfolio in the mining sector.
Mr. Solanki completed his schooling in 2004 from Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram, New Delhi, and later pursued higher studies in the United Kingdom. He holds a B.A. in Business Studies from the University of De Montfort, Leicester Business School, UK.
Himmat Singh Bedla
Director
Mr. Himmat Singh Bedla is the Managing Director of Thriveni Sainik Mining Pvt. Ltd., which is our group company and working as MDO in one of the India’s largest coal blocks owned by NTPC. He owns a Polo team and is a seasoned and a renowned Polo Player. He has represented Indian National team too.
